Welcome to Thurlow Fayre 2017

The Thurlow Fayre attracts around 2,000 visitors each year. It’s a traditional Suffolk village fayre, with main ring events including tug-o-war and sheep racing (!) and a huge range of entertainment and side-stalls. We do hope you’ll join us this year.

A report of this year's Fayre was published in the Haverhill Echo - click here to view it!

A word from local MP, Matthew Hancock:

HancockI can’t wait for this year’s Thurlow Fayre to be held on 3 September.  It is a firm fixture in the Hancock family diary – we all are looking forward to it enormously.  The Thurlow Fayre is one of the best things about the glorious summer in England.  It has the loveliest combination of attractions, there is something for everybody – big and small, young and old.  From bands to Morris dancing to rides and slides and stalls – the Thurlow Fayre has it all.  But we especially like the gently competitive produce competition and spend the week before the Fayre making jam to enter in it.  I have my fingers crossed for a winner this year and I hope to see you there.
